NKU Presidents Climate Commitment Task Force

Overview

The NKU Presidents Climate Commitment Task Force oversees the development and implementation of the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) at Northern Kentucky University.

Presidents Climate Commitment Task Force members are charged with engaging the NKU community in climate change education and emissions reduction efforts. This involves: 

1. Taking immediate actions to reduce NKUs greenhouse gas emissions.

2. Completing an inventory of NKUs greenhouse gas emissions.

3. Producing a long-term Climate Action Plan for NKU that:

1. Establishes a target date and interim milestones for becoming climate neutral; and,

2. Describes how climate change will be integrated into the curriculum.
