choices and encourages interaction with local companies. The CDC provides
students with the tools they need to choose a major, get experience in their
field of study, and network with companies both large small. This includes
a full-service cooperative education program, an online job search/posting
service, and partnership opportunities with local companies. The Career
Development Center, also, strives to work closely with area companies to help them
meet their personnel needs. We have partnerships with a variety of
companies both large and small in the tri-state area and encourage all types
of industry to participate in cooperative education opportunities, job
posting/recruiting, and attendance of career fair events. For more

Connections to Students
The Career Development Center offers
employers access to our Norse-Recruiting online job
posting/recruiting/resume referral system. This is a fully integrated
web-based system that allows employers to post their jobs directly to the
NKU site, as well as have students apply online to their positions.
You can also post an interview schedule for on-campus recruiting at NKU.
Students can sign up online for any of the times listed by the employer.
All Norse-Recruiting related services are free to employers, but you do need to contact the
Career Development Center to have a profile created for you. You need to
e-mail cdc@nku.edu or phone 859-572-5680
and provide all relevant company information (Business name, address,
website, industry type, brief company description, contact name, title, and
e-mail address) to get activated. Your Norse-Recruiting profile will be activated
within 24 hours M-F. You will receive, via e-mail, a username, password,
and information on how to utilize the site. If you already have a
password and username, click here
to go directly to the Norse-Recruiting site.
Another way the CDC connects employers
and students is through cooperative education (This term includes paid
internships). The CDC will work with you to help you create a
co-op program, fill an existing co-op position, or simply discuss with you
the benefits of utilizing a co-op in your organization. There is so
much great information about Co-op that we have dedicated an entire website
to the program. To learn more about Cooperative Education

Connections to Alums
NKU has two great ways to connect employers
to our alums. First is through our Norse-Recruiting Career Posting
system. All alums have access to the system and can apply to positions
the same as current students and new grads. A brand new addition to
this service is a site solely dedicated to alumni. Norse-Recruiting
has opened an Alumni Resource site, and employers are encouraged to check
there. If you are interested in experienced, professionals
click here to go to the
NKU Norse-Recruiting Alumni site.

Company Site Visits
The Career Development Center has a staff of six
professionals who are willing to come to your company to talk to you about
opportunities within the Career Development Center and NKU. The CDC
staff also welcomes employers to schedule a visit to the Career Development
Center. We will accommodate you with the type of meeting that best
suits your needs. A staff member will be happy to sit down with you
one-on-one to discuss your options and what services your company would like
to utilize. Since our services to employers are free, we encourage you
to schedule a meeting at your earliest convenience.
