DISCOUNTED RATES

Travel Section, Accounts Payable, has a list of hotels and motels in Kentucky that offer discounted rates for State employees. Call ext. 5261 for the information. The only time these rates vary is when an employee is attending a conference - the charge will be the negotiated conference rate.

The University has a corporate account program with Holiday Inns. Not all, but most, of the Holiday Inns participate. Better yet, Holiday offers government rates to state employees. Call 1-800-465-4329 about rates at a particular Holiday Inn.

Many hotels/motels will give government rates to a state employees, but an I.D. from the University must be furnished upon registration. If attending a conference, most hotels will not give a special rate but will charge the negotiated conference rate. An employee could still try for a government rate.
