Update: Exceptionally Cleared on 12/17/07
A male reported
to University Police that at about 2:00am on Saturday, December 1, 2007,
he had transported a man from Newport to the Commonwealth Hall driveway
of campus. Upon arrival, the suspect sprayed the victim with an
irritant and took a small amount of money from inside of his vehicle,
and fled the area. The assailant is described as a white
male in his early 20's, wearing a black hoodie and a black baseball cap.
The Northern Kentucky University Police are investigating this incident.

CRIME TIP: Do not pick up
hitchhikers. If you see someone on the road that indicates they
need help, it is best to call police. Keep your valuables in
the trunk or out of sight whenever traveling or leaving a vehicle
parked. Call 9-1-1 to report anyone you observe behaving
suspiciously.

University Police
have been advised of two suspicious male whites loitering near the
University Suites on 10/03/2007. Both subjects were observed
looking into a female dorm room. One subject is described as
wearing jeans, unknown color shirt and short dark hair. The second
subject was wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. Apparently there was
no attempt to gain entry. Anyone with information is encouraged to

On 08/21/2007 the
University Police were advised of a suspicious person confronting
students in the University Suites. He was offering his business card and
soliciting money for a business venture. The subject is described as a
male black, in his early twenties with shaved head. He was last
observed wearing a two-tone brown, horizontal striped shirt and blue
jeans. We ask all members of our community remain to aware of their
surroundings and keep their doors and windows locked at all times. If
anyone has information which will assist in further identification of
the suspect in this case, please contact the University Police
