escorted from the Residential
Village in lieu of arrest. The subject left the area without incident....

of an Injury Auto Accident near campus. The victim was eventually transported To
University Hospital by
the Central Campbell County Squad....

checked the subject. Subject was advised by the nurse that he should be checked at the
hospital. The subject agreed
to go to the hospital for treatment and evaluation but still refused a squad. He was
transported by a third party
to St. Elizabeth South Hospital for treatment. A (Red) Book bag and contents belonging to
the subject was left at
the scene and was secured at D.P.S. Lost-N-Found. The owner has been advised. Property

Dispo: An NKU Officer reported having a "heated conversation" with an NKU
student while the
Officer was issuing parking citations in Lot F. This incident occurred on 2/2/01. On
2/8/01 a
second NKU Officer had a phone conversation with the student. The student, during this
conversation, was very hostile and abusive. Officers were advised to complete reports on
both
incidents. The reports will be forwarded to the appropriate University personnel for any
further action....

Dispo: Complaint received of a (white) male inside the Auditorium. The subject
appeared to be nervous
to the complainant. The subject was gone on the officers arrival. Numerous
pamphlets soliciting for
music club membership were found in the area. No property reported missing or
damaged....

Location: UNIVERSITY CENTER - FREIGHT ELEVATOR SHAFT - FIRE ALARM
Dispo: FIRE - NO INJURIES. Fire alarm pull station activated due to a fire in the
freight elevator shaft.
The building was evacuated and the fire was extinguished. The Central Campbell
County Fire Department
and the N.K.U. Environmental Safety Officer responded to the scene. The cause of the
fire was an overheated
sump pump located in the bottom of the shaft, the pump is used to remove water from the
shaft. There was no
damage to the elevator and it remained in service after being checked by technicians.
The Kentucky State Fire
Marshals Office was advised of the fire. The building was reopened for occupancy at
09:53am....

Dispo: Intrusion alarm received from the above location. DPS Officer responded finding the
building secure but
the alarm panel showing a zone #2 activation. The Officer entered the building and checked
the area. All OK.
The alarm was re-set....

After approximately two hours she returned and looked for the ring and it was gone.

Dispo: FIRE - NO INJURIES. Waste container was on fire at the listed location. The Central
Campbell
County Fire Department was notified and responded. The fire department extinguished the
fire and cleared
the area of smoke. Damage was limited to the waste container. The State Fire
Marshal was notified of the
fire. The alarm was re-set and the building was reopened for occupancy at
11:36pm....
