Location: NORSE HALL - POSSIBLE SEXUAL MISCONDUCT
Dispo: Female Dorm resident reported possible sexual misconduct in her room by a known
male
acquaintance. The female was able to avoid the confrontation and reported the
incident to
N.K.U. Residential Life Personnel. Residential Life Personnel then notified the
N.K.U. Police
Department of the incident. The female stated that she did not wish to press
criminal charges
against the male subject. Subjects were interviewed and voluntary statements,
regarding the
incident were obtained. The incident will be referred to the N.K.U. Dean of
Students and
Residential Life Offices for any further disciplinary actions. Case closed....

Location: DORMS - NORSE HALL - ALCOHOL-ALCOHOL RELATED INCIDENT
Dispo: Five (5) subjects found with alcohol in a dorm room. The alcohol
was confiscated and
disposed of by officers on the scene. A report will be forwarded to the Dean of
Students and the
Residential Life Office for any further disciplinary action. The subjects were also
advised
that any future incidents of this type would result in State citations being issued to
them.

Dispo: NO FIRE. Honeywell dispatch advised that they received a "FIRE PULL BOX
ACTIVATION" ALARM from the listed location. Officers responded and it was
determined
that the alarm was caused by a smoke detector being activated by food being cooked in a
microwave oven and was not a "pull box" activation. An alarm was never
received at dispatch.
The alarm was reset and the building was reopened for occupancy at 5:18pm. The Fire
Department was not dispatched by Honeywell and did not respond. Case closed....

was travelling
with the traffic flow. No reported damage to either vehicle. The Driver of Vehicle #2 was

regarding parking

damaged and the glass will be replaced. There was no alarm activation.

Dispo: NO FIRE. Female advises that a light fixture is smoking but no sign of fire.

the scene advises that there is an odor of smoke and smoke visible. N.K.U.
Maintenance
Personnel and the Central Campbell County Fire Department responded to the scene.
The
area was checked and ALL "O.K." It is unknown at this time what caused the
fixture to
smoke. It will be checked by an electrician on 3/13/01 and is not to be used
until checked.
There was no alarm activation from the building at any time. Incident is under
investigation....

into an internet chat room and making threats against others in the room and boasting of
past violence against women. A moderator in the chat room tracked the subjects ISP
number
to N.K.U. Incident is under investigation. Investigation led to the identity
of the perpetrator.

Dispo: Intrusion alarm was received from the above location. DPS Officer responded

found the building was secure. Upon entering the building, the Officer found the

showing a zone #2 activation. The Officer checked the interior and exterior of the
building.
All OK. The alarm was re-set and the officer returned to the main campus. Case

secured in the D.P.S.

the Dean of Students and

Dispo: NO INJURIES. 2 vehicles involved. Driver of vehicle #1 stated that
while he was attempting
to exit Parking Lot I he struck vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 was unattended and illegally
parked in a no
parking zone. While the officer was on the scene the driver of vehicle #2 arrived at
their vehicle.
Driver of vehicle #2 was issued a parking citation. Both drivers were given Kentucky
State individual
accident report forms to fill out since vehicle #1 had been moved. Case closed....

ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANT
Dispo: Officers responded to a possible fight in progress at the listed location.
Upon arrival, officers
found only a verbal altercation and no evidence of physical violence. While checking
I.D.'s of those
involved it was discovered that there was an outstanding warrant on file from Kenton
County on a
male subject involved for violation of a domestic violence protective order. The
subject was lodged
in the Campbell County Jail. Case closed....

Dispo: NO FIRE. Smoke alarm received via computer from the listed location.
Responding Officer
discovered the cause for the alarm was by food burning while being cooked in a microwave.

Central Campbell County Fire Department was dispatched. The N.K.U.
Environmental Safety
Officer responded to the scene and disregarded the Fire Department. There was no
damage to the
building or the oven. The building was reopened for occupancy at 3:20pm. Case
