RECEIVED
Dispo: Female subject reported a possible domestic in the hallway, at the listed
location.
Upon arrival, Officer was unable to locate the subjects involved. Following
further
investigation, subjects involved were located in their respective rooms and were
advised.
Referred to Residential Life Office for possible further disciplinary action.
Case closed...

VEHICLE
Dispo: At above date and time, Female subject came to DPS Office to report
damage
to her vehicle. Subject advised that on 8/27/2002, after attending the
Cincinnati Symphony
Orchestra concert, her vehicle sustained damage as it passed over the
"Speed Bump" at
that location. Subject noticed oil leaking from her vehicle after it had been
parked in her
driveway overnight. Subject advised that the vehicle's oil pan had been cracked.
The incident
remains open, at this time.

Officer observed
a vehicle being operated in a careless manner. Male operator was observed
attempting to
pass Emergency Vehicles by driving the vehicle on the sidewalk. Subject was
issued a
Kentucky State Citation, and received a date to appear in Campbell County
District Court,
for Careless Driving and Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle. Case

Dispo: Male subject came to DPS Office to report that his 2002-2003 NKU Parking
Permit
is missing. Subject advised that he had purchased his parking permit on 8/23/200
and had
placed the permit in his pocket. Upon arrival at home, he noticed that the
permit was missing.
Subject was referred to the Parking Office for a replacement. Case closed...

Dispo: NO FIRE. Fire Alarm received via the ESUSA Computer from the listed location.
NKU DPS,
Physical Plant personnel and the NKU Environmental Safety Officer
checked the area finding no sign of smoke or fire. Investigation
determined that the
cause of the alarm was food being cooked in a microwave. The Central Campbell
County Fire Department was dispatched but later disregarded by the Environmental
Safety Officer after the cause of the alarm was discovered. The alarm was
reset and
the building was reopened. Case closed....

Dispo: Intrusion Alarm received, by Res-Comm Security, from the listed

Covington Police were notified and requested N.K.U. Officer respond for assistance.
Upon
arrival, Officers found an open door and conducted a search of the building and
area. Officers located an N.K.U. professor at that location preparing for classes. The
alarm
was reset and the scene cleared. Case closed....
