County Squad responded to the scene. The subject refused treatment or transportation

Dispo: NO FIRE. Smoke Alarm received via the ESUSA Computer from the listed
location. The Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and checked the area
finding no evidence of smoke or fire. Investigation determined that the alarm was caused
by dust from contractors working in the area. The alarm was reset.  Case closed....

thermostat cover, changed the temperature setting and left the cover on the floor at
the listed location. There was no damage to the thermostat or the cover. Case closed....

Dispo: NO FIRE. Fire alarm received for listed location. The Covington Fire Department
responded and checked the area finding no evidence of smoke or fire. It was determined
that the alarm was caused by a faulty smoke detector. The smoke detector was replaced
and the building resecured. Case closed....

Dispo: A strong smell of Natural Gas was reported around listed location. The Central
Campbell County Fire Department responded. Upon checking the area, it was
determined that the smell was from algae growing on the surface of the lake. The area
was determined safe and the scene cleared. Case closed....

location. The Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and checked the
area finding no evidence of smoke or fire. The cause of the alarm was determined to
be a Pull Station being activated by Carpenters working in the area. The alarm was
repaired and the building was reopened. Case closed....

was parked at the listed location. Substance was possibly the result of landscaping work

Dispo: NO FIRE. Fire Alarm received via the ESUSA Computer for the listed location.
The Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and along with N.K.U.
Officers and Physical Plant Personnel checked the area finding no evidence of smoke
or fire. Investigation determined that a faulty wire in the sprinkler system activated the
alarm. An electrician was notified to fix the problem. The scene was cleared and the
building reopened for occupancy. Case closed....

Location: PLAZA - NEAR NUNN HALL - GIVING A PEACE OFFICER FALSE NAME
Dispo: Five (5) Male Juveniles observed skateboarding at listed location. One subject
ran from Officer and was later found hiding in the backseat of a car. During questioning,
individual gave false information to the Officer. Subject was issued a Kentucky State
Citation for Juvenile Court for Providing False Information to a Police Officer. Subject
was taken into custody and later released to his mother. Case closed....

The Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and checked the area finding
no evidence of smoke or fire. Investigation determined that the alarm was caused by a
door being slammed in the area of the Pull Station. The alarm was reset and the building
reopened for occupancy. Case closed....

returning to the bookstore. No charges have been filed, at this time. Under investigation....

Department responded and checked the area finding no evidence of smoke or fire. It was
determined that the alarm was caused when a contractor working in the area accidentally
cut the wire. The alarm was reset and the building was reopened. Case closed....

Dispo: Male subject reported to have his finger stuck in a vending machine at the listed

respond to assist the subject, but the subject dislodged his finger prior to their arrival.
Subject refused medical assistance and returned to class. Case closed....

Campbell County Fire Department responded, cleaned up the spill, and plugged the leak
