Dispo: NO FIRE. Fire alarm received for listed location.  Upon investigation, Power
Plant advised there was a subject working on the fire system in the building.  It was
determined that while attempting to reset an air handler they accidentally set off the
smoke detector.  The alarm was reset and the building reopened for occupancy.  Case
closed....

Location: PARKING LOT L - CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE
Dispo: Officer observed Two (2) Male subjects crouching between vehicles and acting
suspiciously at the listed location.  Upon questioning, subjects advised they needed a
ride to their vehicle in Wilder, Ky.  While Officer was transporting the subjects to their
vehicle, they admitted their vehicle was back on campus.  Officer returned to campus
and issued the subjects a Kentucky State Citation for Criminal Trespassing-3rd Degree.
Subjects were arrested and lodged in the Campbell County Jail.  Case closed....

Dispo: Officers assisted Highland Heights Police with a fight at the listed location.
Two (2) Male subjects fled from the scene in a vehicle and were quickly stopped.  Upon
questioning, the driver was found to be intoxicated and several containers of alcohol were
found in the vehicle. Driver was arrested and issued a Kentucky State Citation for
Driving Under the Influence by Highland Heights PD and taken to the Campbell County
Jail.  N.K.U. Officers cleared the scene.  Case closed....

Dispo: Unknown subject reported that a verbal altercation was in progress at the listed
location. Upon arrival, Officer located and spoke with the subjects, one (1) male and
one (1) female.  Female subject appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.  Subject
was arrested for Alcohol Intoxication and was transported to the Campbell County
Jail.  An additional charge of Possession of Marijuana was placed on the subject after
jail personnel found marijuana in the subject's purse.  The marijuana was confiscated
and logged into the D.P.S. Property/Evidence Room.  Case closed....

Dispo: Female subject reported that she had been assaulted by her roommate.  Upon
arrival, Officer spoke with the subject who stated that her roommate had struck her
with a closed fist.  (See Report #020461 for a related incident).  Under investigation....

Location: DORMS/WOODCREST/SYCAMORE - SECOND FLOOR - ASSAULT
Dispo: Unknown subject reported a fight at the listed location.  Upon arrival, Officers
observed three (3) females running from the area.  Upon questioning, subjects stated
that a M/B had a gun and was last seen in the woods behind Willow Apartments.
Officers checked the area with negative results and were later advised that the subject
left campus in a vehicle.  Officers were also advised by a Male subject that the suspect 
had pulled a gun on him and had struck him on the head with it.  Victim sustained minor 
injuries as a result of the assault.  The Central Campbell County Squad responded and 
transported the victim to St. Luke Hospital - East for treatment.  Investigation determined 
that the incident occurred as a result of an earlier argument between the victim's girlfriend 
and her roommate.  (See Report #020462 for a related incident).  Under investigation....

Dispo: NO FIRE. Female University employee advised that the Fire Alarm has activated
at the listed location. The Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and along
with D.P.S. Officers and the N.K.U. Environmental Safety Officer checked the area finding
NO evidence of smoke or fire.  Investigation found that a preactivation sprinkler alarm
had activated causing the alarm.  Referred to Physical Plant for system checks and repairs,
if necessary.  Case closed....
