Location: LANDRUM BUILDING - SECOND FLOOR - COMPLAINT RECEIVED
Dispo: Female University employee reported that subject(s) unknown entered her
office
and removed two (2) floppy disks. Subject advised that one (1) of the disks were
removed
from the computer, the other was taken off of the desk. There was no signs of
forced entry.
Subject is checking with department members to see if access had been given to
her office, in
her absence. Under investigation...

Dispo: NO FIRE. Fire alarm received from the listed location.
N.K.U. Officers
along with N.K.U. Maintenance personnel responded and checked the area
finding no sign of smoke or fire. Contractors working in the area advised
that
they had accidentally activated a "Fire Pull Station" causing the
alarm. The
Central Campbell County Fire Department had been dispatched but were
disregarded by Officers on the scene due to the known nature of the alarm.
The
alarm was and the scene was cleared. Case closed....

unrestrained small child in the rear seat. While questioning he driver it
was
discovered that his Kentucky Drivers License was Suspended. During a
search
of the vehicle Marijuana was found inside it. Subject was arrested and
charged
with Driving On A Suspended License, Possession Of Marijuana, No Proof Of
Insurance and Failure To Use A Child Restraint. Subject was transported to
and
lodged in the Campbell County Jail. Case closed....

The Fact
Dispo: On 9/12/2002 at 10:57am, the NKU Environmental Safety Officer advised NKU
DPS Office that he had received information that a Fire had occurred on
9/11/2002, at
the listed location. Neither the NKU DPS Office or the NKU ESO'S Office was
notified
of the Fire when it occurred. A note, reporting the Fire, was left on the NKU
ESO'S desk
following the incident. The Fire began when "oil being heated on a hot
plate" caught fire.
An unidentified student extinguished the Fire with a Fire Extinguisher. No
damage or injuries
were reported, as a result of this incident. The Kentucky State Fire Marshal's
Office was
notified of this incident. Case closed....
