Upon arrival,
Officer met with the resident who stated that grease while cooking
in the oven caught on fire. The fire had been extinguished by the time that DPS and Power Plant
personnel arrived
at the scene, but heavy smoke was still present. The Central Campbell County
Fire Department
responded, checked, and ventilated the area. The alarm was reset, building
cleared for
re-occupancy and scene cleared at 7:58pm. The State Fire Marshal's Office was
notified via

determined that the alarm was caused by a malfunction in the alarm system.
