assistant professor who advised that a liquid nitrogen container released some
vapor, in the form of smoke, into the hallway. The Fire Department and the
Environmental Safety Officer evaluated the incident and immediately repaired a
frozen valve on the container. Fire Department cleared the building for
re-occupancy and returned to service at 4:59pm. The State Fire Marshal's Office
was notified, via e-mail.
