Summary: Officer observed a vehicle being operated without headlights being illuminated. During the stop, Officer observed a juvenile subject inside the vehicle smoking a marijuana cigarette. A county Court Designated Worker (CDW) was contacted and advised. The subject was issued a Kentucky State Citation for Possession of Marijuana. Vehicle's driver received a verbal warning for the headlight violation.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the alarm was caused by contractors working in the area. Contractors were drilling concrete and the resulting dust activated a smoke detector. The alarm was re-set, building cleared for re-occupancy and scene cleared at 10:19am. The State Fire Marshal's Office was notified by e-mail.
