Officers, Power Plant and the Central Campbell County Fire Department responded and checked the area finding no evidence of smoke or fire. Upon investigation, it was determined that the alarm occurred when steam from a shower caused a smoke detector to activate. The alarm was re-set, building cleared for re-occupancy and scene cleared at 7:56am. The State Fire Marshal's Office was notified buy e-mail.

Summary: Campbell County Dispatch broadcast an attempt to locate message for a vehicle regarding a possible burglary "in progress" out of Cold Spring. At 8:25 Hours, Officers located and stopped a vehicle matching the description of the earlier broadcast. After stopping the vehicle, and "sorting out the misunderstanding of the burglary," Officers detected the odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from the driver. The driver was arrested after failing several field tests to determine sobriety. The driver was issued a Kentucky State Citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence. The driver (subject) was subsequently transported and lodged in the Campbell County Jail.

The driver was arrested after failing several field tests to determine sobriety. The subject was issued a Kentucky State Citation for Driving Under the Influence-1st. The driver (subject) was subsequently transported and lodged in the Campbell County Jail.
