Subject was arrested after failing several field tests to determine sobriety.

of Alcohol. The subject was subsequently transported and lodged in the Campbell

of the juveniles). During questioning, Officer determined that the vehicle was
bearing expired registration plates and that the driver could not produce proof
of valid insurance. The driver was issued a Kentucky State Citation for Expired
Registration and No Proof of Insurance. The driver (mother) was also advised
about leaving children unattended.

Summary: While responding to a motorist assist call, an officer observed three
subjects along the wood line by the Honor's House. Officer detected the odor of
marijuana at this location. While attempting to speak with the subjects, the
subjects fled on foot into the woods behind the Honor's House. Highland
Heights Police assisted in searching the area for the subjects. Officers were
subsequently advised the subjects were located inside a residence at the
University Suites. Residential Life personnel responded to this location. Units
requested and were granted access to the residence. During questioning, two
subjects admitted they fled from Officers because they had been smoking
marijuana. The two subjects were arrested and issued Kentucky State
Citations for Fleeing/Evading-2nd Degree. The third subject involved
was not charged at this time. Residential Life personnel obtained additional
information on the subjects for possible further disciplinary action. The two
arrested subjects were transported and lodged in the Campbell County
Jail.

alcoholic containers and a drug paraphernalia containing marijuana in the
vehicle. Officer also determined the subject was intoxicated. The subject
was arrested and issued a Kentucky State Citation for Alcohol Intoxication in a
Public Place-1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.
The subject was transported and lodged in the Campbell County Jail.
