The investigations division is responsible for conducting in-depth investigations and follow-up on open status cases that were unable to be solved during the initial investigation. All resources are utilized to bring about a resolution for the complainant and the university.

This division also conducts Public Safety applicant background screening as well as crime scene processing for personal crime offenses.
