A biennial review of this program will be conduct by NKU to determine the effectiveness of the program and implement changes to the program if they are needed. This review will ensure that the sanctions required are consistently enforced.

Through this program of providing every employee with the information listed above, as well as alcohol/drug abuse education and training programs, the University is making a good faith effort to maintain a drug-free workplace and campus.

For mental health/substance abuse needs of NKU faculty and staff health care policy holders, the health care plan’s counseling services may be utilized. The University’s Wellness Coordinator will provide information for this service and other resources available to employees. For information call (859)-572-5684.
