The following items cannot be recycled:

x Aluminum foil

x Plastic bags

x Pressboard or linerboard

x Paper bags

x Soiled or wet paper

x Paper towels and plates

x Pizza boxes

x Styrofoam and yogurt cups

How to Recycle

1. Rinse away any residue from your recyclables.

2. Remove and dispose of caps and lids.

3. If possible, crush larger cans and bottles.

4. Visit the nearest recycling center.

5. Place your recyclables into the appropriate bin.*

6. Encourage others to follow your footsteps!

* Please don't place trash into recycling bins - this contaminates the bins and    

makes their contents unrecyclable.

Where to Recycle

Recycling centers are located in hallways

across campus and next to residence hall

trash dumpsters.
